The moment trampoline fans have been waiting for has arrived.
Get your training gear on and get ready to jump for joy… the first trampoline park in the east is now open.
You heard it here first - Ryze Edinburgh has opened its doors today and we have the first look inside the new 10,000 sq ft space at Ozone Lothian action sports centre in Mayfield Industrial Estate in Dalkeith.
The warehouse space has been given some flair with mural work by artist Smug and features a trampoline dodgeball arena, an Olympic-style foam pit, aerial skills section, parkour boxes, basketball courts and a 'fidget ladder’.
The park will feature an area for children under six and there will also be a three-hour slot every Monday for families.
Speaking to STV earlier in the month, Ryze co-founder Erik Haugen says the project has become a labour of love for him and he is delighted to see his business expand to Dalkeith.
"The trampoline parks cater really well to anyone who is interested in sports or physical activity," Erik said.
"When you walk in, it is this expansive space. If you are into snowboarding, it’s a great place to come and practice building up agility."
The Fountainbridge Show’s George Ward had the chance to test out the park last week and seemed pretty pleased with his efforts.
Ryze Edinburgh will be open from 10am to 11pm between Sunday to Thursday and from 10am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday. You can find it at Ozone Action Sports centre in 23 Mayfield Industrial Estate, Dalkeith.
